Taking Your Measurements
Measurements are best taken with the help of a family member or friend, as your body flexes in different ways if you hold the tape up to yourself. Need a measuring tape? Register for an account and we'll send you one for free!
- Bust, Waist, and Hip measurements should be taken when wearing thin clothing or underwear
- Bust: Measure the circumference of the fullest part of your bust (usually the center)
- Waist: Slightly bend your torso to the side, take the circumference measurement where the bend occurs
- Hip: Measure the circumference of the fullest part of your buttocks
Total Length Customization for Tops
- Place measuring tape at the point where your shoulder meets your neck.
- Let the measuring tape fall straight down running over the center of your bust.
- Have your helper move their finger up and down the tape until you reach the length that you would like, and have them record that number.
Total Length Customization for Pant Inseam
- Place and hold the flexible measuring tape high in your inner thigh (at crotch)
- Have your helper guide the measuring tape along the inside on your leg until you reach the length you would like, and have them record that number.
If we could, we would do away with assigning numbers to measurements all together, but alas we need to create a system that helps our customers choose the right size. We approached sizing by not just looking at other brands in our space, but by also meeting with actual tall women.
